Where Hawks Fly
Sirena Squires

Sirena Squires has been on a musical path for many years, drumming, singing, and, best of all, mastering the Native American flute little by little, finding the soul of its sound and following its sacred spirit wherever it led her. At last, that path has led her to produce a CD, Where Hawks Fly, so those of us who have been enchanted and entranced by the lovely, ethereal tones of Sirena’s flute playing can now listen to it for hours on end. You will want to listen to Where Hawks Fly in a meditative space, letting the music take you on the wing through the canyons of your heart and mind. Each of the fifteen cuts blends into the next in a soothing, healing journey suggestive of desert winds and spirit guides.

With nearly an hour of tranquil yet captivating music, this album of songs, which were all written and performed in the moment by Sirena, is well worth seeking out.
